Bands to Battle to Share Gospel in Mexico (5/3/25)
A “Battle of the Bands” evening will be held on 5/3/25 to support an upcoming trip to La Palmilla, Mexico. Our missions to La Palmilla have helped this growing church share the Gospel of Jesus’ love and salvation with this community in Mexico.

Missionary Joy Phillips will visit PUMC on Sunday April 24. Joy is a long time friend of PUMC, and we have supported her ministry in Africa, most recently in South Sudan. During our 10:15 AM service, Joy will update us on how God has been using her to build His kingdom.

John and Dasia Abramovich, missionaries in Poland, will visit PUMC on Sunday May 15 during our 10:15 AM service. John is from New Jersey, and he and Dasia have visited PUMC many times over the years. Recently, the war in Ukraine has created a flood of refugees in Poland, and they have joined in the efforts to assist the Ukrainian refugees.

This year, he appeared as Amos, a newspaper reporter who happened to be covering the beat in Bethlehem on that wondrous night. Years ago, Americans Ken and Lorraine Enright took that command to heart and did more than just think or talk about it. They went to Africa, and eventually established a Pastor’s School on the shores of Lake Kafakumba (in what is now the Congo). The Kafakumba Pastor’s School is now 55 years old.
