Staff
The hands and feet behind the ministry at our church is the laity. But our staff provides the guidance, knowledge, and the special skills and experience that are needed in order for our ministries to be effective and Spirit Led.
Our church is blessed to have the resources of staff who is talented, resourceful, and (above all) deeply loves the Lord and strongly desires to serve Him.

Mrs. Crispin was born and raised in Pitman, and being a part of the church’s music program began in our Junior Choir. She was a student of organ under long-time choir director/organist, Mr. Charles S. Ware. Through his direction and teaching, Mrs Crispin served as an accompanist for various choirs within the church. At the age of 16, she was called upon to be the choir director-organist of the Clayton Presbyterian Church, where she served for two years.
Mrs Crispin entered Glassboro State College, pursuing a degree in Music Education, with a concentration in vocal music and organ. She was a student of organ under Dr. Hoyle Carpenter and Dr. Keith Chapman. While attending Glassboro State College, (now Rowan University), she was called to the position of organist at the First Presbyterian Church of Pitman, serving under choir director, Clarence Miller. Upon graduation in 1978, she began her teaching career, and also returned “home” to serve as the organist/music director of the Pitman United Methodist Church. For the past thirty plus years, Mrs Crispin has led our choirs and congregation in the worship of God through music. Continuing to lead us in all styles of music from the classics to the contemporary, she shares her love of the Lord and uses His gift of music to His glory!
