The Pitman Craft Show is a huge community tradition that attracts visitors from all over the area. Broadway, Pitman’s main street is blocked off, and vendors set up their wares on both sides of the street.  There is some parking on the streets around Broadway, but finding a spot is difficult. Help Feed Pitman’s Poor! The Pitman food pantry is always in need of food donations, especially during the summer.  To help highlight this, our United Methodist Women’s group has been organizing a monthly drive for donations.  Donations are requested to be placed in the pantry shopping cart (located in the Fellowship Hall). Pitman celebrated Independence Day with its annual 4th of July Parade. The parade traces nearly the entire stretch of Broadway and then ends in our parking lot.  PUMC offers space to the parade “marchers” to disassemble floats, take a drink of water or visit the restrooms. The Joint was Jumpin! Our Father’s House held a ceremony on Wednesday June 3 to mark the achievement of our Pre-Kindergartners.  A total of 43 kids participated in the celebration ceremony and will leave Our Fathers House to move on to Kindergarten next year.  The graduates were from our three Pre-K classes:  The Busy Bees, Friendly Yellow Fish, and Friendly Orange Fish.
