The Fall Pitman Craft Show is quickly approaching, and PUMC will be a busy place that day. The craft show is a huge event in downtown Pitman. Broadway will be closed to traffic and will turn into a market thronged with people interested in craft items of all sorts. For more information about the Pitman Craft Show, Click Here.
The craft show attracts a lot of people… and cars.
We are going to open our parking lot to craft show visitors and provide transportation between PUMC and the craft show area. The craft show is held between 9:00 – 3:00 on Saturday September 20. If it rains, the rain date will be on the following Saturday (9/27).
The United Methodist Men are organizing a major community outreach where the church will participate in the Craft Show in the following ways:
- From 8-11 AM we’ll throw one of our “famous” breakfast buffets.
- All day, we’ll provide parking in our lot and shuttle transportation to and from downtown.
- From 12-2 PM we’ll offer a lunch.
In addition to opening our doors to the community, these efforts will raise funds for LaPalmilla (a church in Mexico which we have assisted) and for our Men’s Retreat (in March of next year). We’ll need a lot of help (Men and Women and kids and youth)! Please circle the date and plan on pitching in with whatever time you can spare.
