CONTACT Community Helplines
For 42 years, CONTACT Community Helplines has helped people in crisis or need through their telephone hotlines. They operate a 24-hour Crisis Helpline for residents of Camden, Gloucester, Cumberland and Salem Counties who need to talk to someone who really cares, someone who will listen to them, without judgment.
CONTACT also operates a Telephone Reassurance Program for isolated and homebound senior citizens who live alone. The Telephone Reassurance program provides a daily call to these senior citizens each day – at a time convenient to the client — to make sure they are alive and well, and to provide social contact.
