The Pitman Craft Show is a huge community tradition that attracts visitors from all over the area. Broadway, Pitman’s main street is blocked off, and vendors set up their wares on both sides of the street. There is some parking on the streets around Broadway, but finding a spot is difficult.
We’re offering the public an easier way. We’re opening up our parking lot for Craft Show visitors, and we’re providing transportation to and from our parking lot and the downtown area. Our church is located on Broadway, about 1/2 mile north of the Craft Show area.
Parking and the shuttle are free of charge! Our church van will be making trips every 15 minutes or so; you won’t have to stand around waiting very long.
- Support two small mission churches in nearby villages.
- Minister to the sick and needy in their own village.
- Do community clean up service projects
- Go to the hospital in the nearest city once a month to hand out free refreshments to (and pray with) the patients’ family members.
- Host district women and youth conferences and workshops
This church has been doing amazing ministry with the poor, and we support the church to help them care for the needy.
The parking and shuttle ride are free of charge, but if you are able, we are asking for a donation to help our mission with this church. Give as much or as little as you want (even if you can’t donate, we’ll still be glad to give you a ride).

Breakfast
We’re also holding one of our “famous” breakfast buffets that morning! The breakfasts are held in our church’s Fellowship Hall. So you can park your car and then grab a breakfast from our buffet of Sausage Gravy and biscuits, Scrambled Eggs, Pancakes, Potatoes, French Toast Casserole, Sausage Links , Fruit Cup, Coffee, Tea… and a whole bunch of other good stuff!
The breakfast costs $7.00 ($4.00 for kids, free for kids under 2 years of age).
Lunch
After the Craft Show, bring back your goodies and enjoy a quick lunch in the comfort of our Fellowship Hall. The lunch will run from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Here’s what’s on the menu:
- Cheese burger, chips and soda $6
- Hotdog, chips and soda $5
- Grill Cheese Chips and soda $5
Proceeds from the Breakfast and Lunch will help fund the building of the church in La Palmilla and the projects of our Men’s Fellowship Group.
In case of rain, the show will be held the following Saturday (September 27). If it gets bumped to the rain date, we will also offer our services on the 27th.
