This year’s World Day of prayer will be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church on Friday, March 13 at 1:00 PM. Yes it is Winter!  This evening’s (Sunday 3/1) Youth Council meeting and BLAST (our youth fellowship) were postponed due to the ice storm.  Both events will be held NEXT week (Sunday March 8). The Youth Council will meet from 5:30-6:30. Part of the meeting will  include a presentation about the upcoming 30 hour fast. The BLAST group will meet from 6:30-8:00. 2015 District Day of Learning to be Held at PUMC (3/7/15)

Delaware Bay District Day of Learning… The annual District Day of Learning is a great way to pick up new faith skills and to make friends with fellow Methodists from around the District.  And best of all (for PUMC members)… it is held in our own church! Bishop John Schol (presiding bishop of our Greater New Jersey Annual Conference) is traveling throughout the conference’s 9 districts to meet with clergy and laity.  This is a chance to ask questions and to get to know the Bishop better. Lenten Schedule (March-April 2015)

Starting with Ash Wednesday (on February 18), we left the season of Epiphany and entered the season of Lent.  If you start with the Saturday before Easter and count backwards 40 days (not including Sundays), you’ll land on Ash Wednesday. 2015 Lenten Devotional Books are Ready!

During the past few months, members of PUMC have written and collected a series of devotional readings to help us prepare for Easter during the season of Lent.  The devotionals have been assembled into a booklet, and the booklets are now available. The Lenten Devotionals are now available in the Narthex.  The book contains daily readings starting on Ash Wednesday (February 18) and continuing through Easter Sunday (April 5).  Articles are written by members of PUMC as well as by members of Zion...

The Our Father’s House pre-school has been providing kids with quality preschool instruction and a nurturing environment since we opened its doors in the Fall of 2009. We are now in our 6th year.
