UMM Bkfast 4-25-15-YardSale LaPamilla Display _IMG_1997On Saturday April 25, 2015, the United Methodist Men’s Fellowship served up one of our “famous” breakfast buffets.  The buffet was open not only to serve up a great Saturday morning eating experience, but also to help us serve a church in La Palmilla Mexico which needs help to finish the construction of their new sanctuary.  The buffet was held in conjunction with a yard sale.  Vendors paid for table space, and those proceeds went to the mission.

About 110 people dug into the buffet, and probably 100 more wandered through the “treasures” lining our Fellowship and Parking  Lot.  The Yard Sale, which included goodies from 24 sellers, ran throughout the morning.

In addition to the money raised, this event provided some “fellowship time” for the men working the serving line and in the kitchen (you can get to know someone when you spend a few hours scrubbing pots side by side!).  Vendors got to meet each other and exchange treasures, and PUMC had another opportunity to open up and participate in the community.

Here are some pictures…
