Christmas- Christ’s Birthday- is quickly coming upon us…
A host of annual traditions are is waiting in the wings: Birthday Party for Jesus, Live nativity, Gloucester County Community Choir (The Messiah), Candlelight Christmas Cantata, Christmas Eve service….
Decorations of garland, wreaths, and nativity scenes lend to the atmosphere and help inspire our worship during the Advent season.
On Tuesday, November 25, we will decorate our sanctuary (as we call it, “the hanging of the greens”). Tuesday is also our weekly night of dinner and Bible studies, but things will be a bit different this week. Here’s the schedule:
- 9:30 AM- Pastor Jim will lead the Bible study, as usual.
- 5:00 PM- Decorate the sanctuary.
- 6:00 PM- Dinner in the Fellowship Hall
- 7:00 PM- Complete the “Hanging of the Greens.”
- Pastor Jim’s usual 7PM Bible Study will NOT be held.
- Endurance will Not meet.
- Youth will meet as usual (but may decide to help decorate).
