During the Summer you need Ice Cream! You need to go to the shore and do other things to take advantage of the opportunity to mix thing up. One of the highlights during the Fall and Winter is our Tuesday evenings of dinner, fellowship, and Bible Study. But one of this summer’s highlights is shaping up to be our evenings at Friendlys!
Last month, we held our first Fundraiser at Friendlys. PUMC packed the restaurant and we raised over $250 for our shared ministries. People across the globe and across the state were helped because we helped ourselves to a great dinner and desert!
But we’re not stopping there! We’ve scheduled TWO more Friendly nights for this summer. Circle the third Tuesdays in July and August and plan on returning to the Friendly’s restaurant in Glassboro to help with our missions. Friendly’s is located at the light where Woodbury Road meets Delsea Drive.
- Tuesday July 21 (5-8PM)
- Tuesday August 18 (5-8 PM)
Here’s how it works:
- Download and print out the voucher (Friendly’s Voucher). Vouchers will also be available at church.
- Bring the voucher and your appetite to the Glassboro Friendly’s at any time between 5 and 8 PM on Tuesday July 21 or August 18.
- Give the voucher to your server, and then enjoy a great meal!
- Friendly’s will donate 20% of your bill to our church. The donations will go directly to our Missions and Shared Ministries funds which help the United Methodist Church serve needy people all over the world.
