Means of Grace Webinar (2/27/14)

The church’s Global Board of Discipleship recently sent out an email announcing a new Webinar which will occur on Thursday Feb. 27 (from 8-9PM our time).  You do have to register in advance, but it’s free and you don’t have to attend the Webinar (or sit through the whole thing).  You log in on Thursday night and listen to the presentation while exchanging comments with people from all over the country.  It’s a great experience if you’ve never tried it (and it’s great if you HAVE tried it too!).

If you miss the Webinar, you can go back to the site and view an archive of it later.

The GBOD offers Webniars frequently, but this particular one fits into the topic that was presented in last week’s sermon (Sunday 2/16/14) and discussed during this week’s small group meetings.  The topic is the “Means of Grace”. What are some of the practices that we can develop that put is into places where “God shows up”?  To grow  into a deeper knowledge we need to practice the “Means of Grace” by nurturing habits that make us “vulnerable” to God’s leading.

Note that all of the times cited below are Central Time- 1 hour behind our local (EST) time…

Following up on 2013’s popular “Lord, Teach Us to Pray” collaboration, Interpreter magazine and The Upper Room are launching a new series of articles and webinars exploring the means of grace, practices in which Christians have traditionally engaged to grow in their relationship to God. Join us for our free, one-hour premiere event! Means of Grace, Means of Growth Thursday, Feb. 27 – 7-8 p.m. (CT)
