Rakes, shovels, snow blowers, shovels… where do you put them? If you’re a homeowner, you probably store them in your garage or in a garden shed. But if you’re a church, you also need a place to store them. We’re called to be good stewards of all God has entrusted us with… even rakes and shovels.
Ever since we moved into our new building in 2008, this has been an issue. Snowblowers, gas cans, and other items have been stored under tarps; hidden away in any spot we could find.
But, Matt Taylor, a PUMC youth who is working towards his Eagle Scout badge, has taken on a project to fill this need. Matt is collecting donations to construct a shed which will be build near our retention pond in the back of our parking lot. The cost is $1000, and most of this amount has already been collected.
Look for the trifold display in the narthex if you would like to help out with this important project.
