Our Tuesday Night Dinners might have ended for the Summer, but we’re going to have another shotFriendlys _IMG_2120 at a church family dinner on Tuesday June 16.  We have scheduled a Fundraiser at the Friendly’s  restaurant in Glassboro.  Friendly’s is located at the light where Woodbury Road meets Delsea  Drive.

Here’s how it works:

    • Download and print out the voucher (Friendly’s Voucher).  Vouchers will also be available at church.
    • Bring the voucher and your appetite to the Glassboro Friendly’s at any time between 5 and 8 PM on Tuesday June 16.
    • Give the voucher to your server, and then enjoy a great meal!
    • Friendly’s will donate 20% of your bill to our church.  The donations will go directly to our Shared Ministries fund which helps the United Methodist Church serve needy people all over the world.

Print out extra vouchers, invite your friends, and spread the word.  Help PUMC and the missions of the United Methodist Church spread The Word and help the needy.

What is Shared Ministry?

“Shared Ministry” (or “Apportionments”) is a vehicle through which Methodists take advantage of their connection with other Methodists to make a difference in the world.

The following video was produced by the North Georgia Annual Conference, but it also applies to us in the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference as we minister to those who are still rebuilding from Hurricane Sandy, and those in Newark or Camden and across the state (and world) who are building and rebuilding lives…

    Hi Chuck,

Can we make photocopies of the voucher and hand them out in church?

    • Chuck

You bet! They’re “bulletin-insert sized” for a reason!
And if anyone forgets to bring their voucher to Friendlys, we’ll have some emergency copies on hand.
