The United Methodist Women’s long time “claim to fame” has been our bedrock of meeting together in groups called “Circles.” UMW Circles were in place long before the term “Small Group” came into vogue, and they are a place to study the Bible and exchange thoughts within the community of other women. Here’s the April schedule of UMW Circle gatherings:
- The Wesleyann Circle will be meeting on Monday, April 6th in the church parlor at 1:00 PM.
- The Hannah Circle will meet on Wednesday, April 15th.
- The Deborah Circle will meet on Thursday, April 16th, 1:00 PM, at the home of Sue Simmons.
Set aside a little time before or after the 11:00 service on the 3rd Sunday of each month for “Coffee Sunday.” In addition to visiting together, find out about the group in the church that is hosting that day. Any cash donations collected will support a local charity.
