This week (“Passion Week” or “Holy Week”) is perhaps the most important week on the Christian calendar. Our church will join with others in Pitman and with millions across the globe to celebrate the Passion of our Lord and of His Resurrection.
Here’s the schedule…
- 7:00PM Holy Thursday (Maundy Thursday) communion service
- 8:30 AM The women will sponsor our annual Good Friday breakfast (no charge!), and Scott Rambo will be the speaker. Scott’s wife, Meg, spoke at last year’s breakfast. Scott and Meg are missionaries in Africa, and they have a unique story telling way of teaching the Bible.
- 7:00 PM We will gather to recognize this solemn day during our evening worship service
- 11:00 Our annual Easter Egg hunt will begin. The event will continue until 1:00 PM.
- 6:30 AM Community Easter Sunrise Service at the Alcyon Lake Park Pavillion
- 9:30 Contemporary worship service and Sunday School
- 11:00 Traditional worship service
17th Sunday After Pentecost |
All are welcome to worship in person. 9:00 AM Sunday School Scripture: Galatians 4:8-31 The sacrament of Holy Communion will be observed during this week’s service. If worshiping online, prepare elements of cracker/bread and juice before the service. A recording of last week’s service is on the Live Stream Page.
