Christmas can be a dark time for people who have recently lost loved ones or who are struggling with depression, addictions, loneliness, or other problems. God didn’t intend for us to live alone; we all need “hugs” in whatever form they may come.
One of the “hugs’ offered by our church comes in the form of prayer shawls, lap robes, or even cancer hats. Two groups in our church (“Hooks and Needles for God” and “Scrappy Quilters”) are constantly busy creating crochet and knitted “hugs.”
Do you or someone you know need “hug” this Christmas season?
If so, contact the church office or Sue Simmons and let us warm you up with a knitted “hug” and some prayer.
