Easter Sunday is quickly approaching! In order to celebrate the resurrection, we need to experience everything that led up to that glorious morning.
On Palm Sunday, March 20, we considered the beginning of this Holy Week when our Lord entered Jerusalem. Our choirs led us through a special worship where to journeyed from the palms, through the cross, and to the empty tomb.
During this special week, PUMC is providing some special opportunities to prepare ourselves for the majesty of Easter Morning…
Tuesday (3/22)
Tuesday Night “Series”. The evening starts out with a dinner at 6PM, and then we break up into our small groups, Youth Groups, and Bible Studies at 7PM.

Wednesday (3/23)
————————-. Allow Wednesday to be a special time of personnel reflection. Our Girl Scouts will meet, but no other church family events are planned.

Thursday (3/24)
Maundy Thursday Worship Service, 7:00 PM. We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper as we remember our Lord during that final evening in the Upper room.

Friday (3/25)
Good Friday Worship Service, 7:00 PM. The thoughts of Peter, Judas, and Jesus will lead us to the cross.

Saturday (3/26)
Easter Egg Hunt, 11:00 AM. Resurrection Day is a celebration of life! This annual event on our lawn and in our Fellowship Hall reminds us of the joy and excitement of finding life in Christ.

Easter Sunday (3/27)
We celebrate the most important day of the Christian calendar with three different worship opportunities:
6:30 AM Community Sunrise service(Cancelled!)- 9:30 AM, “Contemporary” Worship Service. Music will be led by the Praise Team, and the choir will join us to close our service with the Hallelujah Chorus.
Sunday School will be held during this service. - 11:00 AM “Traditional” Worship Service. The choirs will lead the music and Pastor Jim will repeat his sermon.
Childrens Church will be held during this service.
