The leader will be Pastor George DeVol, and he will lead a study on the book of Matthew- “Following the Master.” George led our retreat in 2018, and we are enthused to have him back. New Jersey Methodists to Rise Against Hunger! (3/21/20- POSTPONED!)

On March 22, 2020, the churches of the Greater NJ Annual Conference will join with “Rise Up Against Hunger” in an effort to pack 500,000 boxed meals in one day. Packing sites will be organized in various locations throughout Greater NJ, and PUMC will support the goal of having at least 3,000 people from across the state involved.

The media reports incorrectly characterized the proposals as decisions. The Bishop fielded a wide range of questions to debunk the rumors and to ensure us that the UM Church will continue to focus on our mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the world.
