BLAST & Youth Council Meeting Rescheduled (3/8/15)

Yes it is Winter!  This evening’s (Sunday 3/1) Youth Council meeting and BLAST (our youth fellowship) were postponed due to the ice storm.  Both events will be held NEXT week (Sunday March 8). The Youth Council will meet from 5:30-6:30. Part of the meeting will  include a presentation about the upcoming 30 hour fast. The BLAST group will meet from 6:30-8:00. We will see a presentation about Chrysalis (an awesome spiritual weekend “retreat” which is the youth version of Walk to Emmaus). We need volunteers for the...

2015 District Day of Learning to be Held at PUMC (3/7/15)

Delaware Bay District Day of Learning… The annual District Day of Learning is a great way to pick up new faith skills and to make friends with fellow Methodists from around the District.  And best of all (for PUMC members)… it is held in our own church! Bishop John Schol (presiding bishop of our Greater New Jersey Annual Conference) is traveling throughout the conference’s 9 districts to meet with clergy and laity.  This is a chance to ask questions and to get to know the Bishop better. Bishop Schol will be at the West Park UMC in Bridgeton on Thursday Feb. 26.  He will meet with the clergy between 9AM and noon, and then meet with the laity between between 7 and 9PM.
