Start Your Day with Our Breakfast Buffet!
On Saturday April 26, the Men’s Fellowship group will throw one of our famous Breakfast Buffets in our Fellowship Hall. The buffet starts at 8:00 AM and runs until 11:00 AM. The menu includes delicious items such as our French Toast casserole, Eggs, Chipped Beef, Pancakes… and some fruit to balance off the “bad” stuff!
Cost of the buffet is Adults $6, $4 kids, free for children 2 and under.
Concurrently with the breakfast, our Mexico Mission team is hosting a Yard Sale to raise funds to help the building of a church in La Palmilla Mexico. Our church has had a long relationship with our brothers & sisters in LaPalmilla; we have sent several mission teams to LaPalmilla. This community is in desperate need of help as they construct a church building while ministering to the needs of the poor in that area.
Outdoor spots are also available. These do not include a table but a 12′ area is provided. Outdoor spots cost $10.
Sellers keep the proceeds from their sales. Proceeds from the space rentals benefit the La Palmilla mission.
Please stop by our church during the morning of Saturday April 26. Enjoy a great breakfast, browse some “earthly treasures” at our yard sale, and help the people of La Palmilla Mexico all at the same time.

Why Are We doing This???
Sure: It’s fun to spend some time with friends and family and to eat a great breakfast. And it’s always interesting to check out Yard Sales. But why is a church doing this? How does this further the Kingdom of God?
Getting together and serving builds community. But the results of our efforts also help those less fortunate than ourselves. The people in La Palmilla Mexico have little resources, but they have a huge heart for God. They are being God’s hands and feet in Mexico, but they need our help.
We waited in the “wilderness” of borrowed spaces for 4 years before we were able to move into our present building, But the people in La Palmilla have been waiting much longer than that. We have discovered how the resource of our building can be used to impact the lives of others while the people in La Palmilla have been struggling to help others without this resource.
Below are some pictures of our friends in Mexico and of the church they are striving to complete. The pictures are from our mission trip in 2013…
