Pizza!!!!
On the second Saturday of every month in the year (except in the months named July and August), a group of men get together to laugh, drink coffee, eat donuts… and share in some informal Bible study. The “informal Bible study” is usually lead by an outside speaker who gives us a fresh perspective on how we can live and grow in our Christian walk as men.
Why so early?!? Well, we’re only there for an hour or so (definitely wrap up by 9AM), and having the gathering so early gives us the rest of our Saturday to do whatever we need to get done on Saturday.
Now that July and August are almost past, we’re gearing up to resuming our “Fellowship Gatherings.” We’re doing 
this by holding a special “Kickoff” gathering in the evening (instead of the usual morning time). We’ve scheduled our ’15-’16 Kickoff for Saturday September 12 at 6:00 PM. Yep- PM! And instead of coffee and donuts, we’ll have some Pepsi and Pizza!
Our guest speaker will be the Rev. Larry Oksten, pastor of the First UMC in Glassboro.
Pastor Larry is a dynamic speaker with a deep passion for Christ. Getting to “where the rubber meets the road,” he frequently refers to himself as “Pastor Blue Jeans.”
He grew up in Paulsboro, graduated from St. James High School in Carneys Point, and went on to graduate from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (now Palmer). Last year he finished his doctorate. He and his wife Ginny have two sons.

…And probably a little “Pizzazz” too! Plan on “gathering” with us on the 12th for a special time of learning and laughter, and consider continuing into the year as we gather on Saturday mornings.
