You sunk my Battleship!

Games?  Really? What’s that got to do with church?  Isn’t that just for kids?

Game Sorry _IMG_1951As we’ve heard so many times, a church isn’t a building; it’s the people who are the church.  If we are to “spur one another on towards good deeds” (as it says in Hebrews 10:24) it’s important that we get to know each other.  Traveling to Mexico on a missions team, or joining with a couple of guys to wash dishes in the kitchen, or praying together are ways to build relationships.  But so is spending an evening doing less weighty things… like playing Monopoly or Sorry!  These are ways to develop relationships which can be used to make disciples and “spur one another on towards good deeds.”

And- it’s also a way to just have fun and enjoy an evening as a family!

So… Mark your calendars for Friday, April 17 at 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. This is for ALL AGES. Bring your favorite game or favorite snack. Let’s have some fun as a church family and make some great memories.  Feel free to invite friends, too!  If you have questions, see Cindy or Doug Pownall or Kristen Russell.
