Malachi and Matthew…. The two books begin with the same letter and they are side by side. But to many, they are miles apart.
At first glance, the New Testament talks about Jesus: Matthew Mark, Luke and John chronicles His teaching and ministry. The other books chronicle the growth of the church and the teachings of the apostles. The Old Testament talks about the Jewish Law and the history of Israel. It contains Psalms of worship, wisdom, and prophecies about God’s plans for the Hebrew people and the nation of Israel.
But, does the Old Testament also talk about Jesus? What does the New Testament say about history and the Law?
