Christmas Marketplace Ready to Open (11/13/21)

Our building is open and the Christmas Marketplace is back!  We will hold our Third Annual Marketplace which on Saturday November 13, 2021. Mark the date and check out the crafts from local artists.  It could be a great opportunity to pick up some special Christmas gifts.

The Marketplace exhibits and sells crafts (original works), and the proceeds from table space rental fees are used to supply mission projects around the world (exhibitors get to keep 100% of their sales).  And, it gives everyone the chance to pick up some unique Christmas gifts!

2021 Christmas Marketplace

On Saturday November 13, our Christmas Marketplace will return!  Our Marketplace was open in 2018 and 2019, but COVID knocked it out in 2020. But, the vaccine is keeping us safe, our building is open, and we’re slowly returning to “normal.”

Keeping with the Christmas Marketplace tradition, the Marketplace will feature the arts and crafts from members of our church and community. The space rental fees will go to the mission projects selected by our United Methodist Women (exhibitors keep the sale proceeds).  By participating in the Marketplace, you will be helping to supply people’s basic needs throughout the world.  We are God’s hands and feet for good in the world, and through this simple act of displaying, selling, and buying crafts, we will reach out beyond our walls to touch those in need.

Yes,we will have a deli at the marketplace too!  If you want to make  anything to donate to the deli, please send Brian Foley an email telling him what you’re planning to make.

It’s NOT a Yard Sale!

The Christmas Marketplace is more akin to a Craft Show than a Yard Sale.  Items displayed must be original and handmade… no hand me downs, no kits, no commercially manufactured items.  Attendees will be buying items directly from the artists who made them.  Below are some glimpses of past Christmas Marketplaces:
