Cancer itself is bad enough, but the treatment also frequently brings the indignity of hair loss. On Thursday September 25, a group of ladies are going to do something about this by making turbans for cancer patients. We will meet in the gathering room from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The American Cancer Society makes these available to the patients at no cost. This has been an ongoing project of the Pitman United Methodist Church for a number of years. Our Sunday School program has returned from the summer break and is about to kick it into high gear. On Sunday 9/14, we will celebrate our annual Rally Day (Promotion Sunday). During the Sunday School hour, all children will report to their old class, then we will go to the gathering room for a special program (a game geared to all ages). After that- you’re promoted!
