Last week, during our annual “hanging of the greens,” many lights, garlands, nativities and trees were brought out to remind us of this special season. \u00a0 One of those trees is very special;\u00a0 we call it our “Star Tree,” and it was placed in \"Christmas<\/a>our Narthex.\u00a0 This Christmas tree is adorned with Yellow stars, and each star bears the name of a child from our town who is in need of our help.\u00a0 To participate in this ministry…<\/p>\n

Remove a star with the child’s name on it and purchase a gift (suggested on the star). Bring in the wrapped gift to the church and place it under the Star Tree no later than December 13.\u00a0 This year, families are being asked to pick up their children’s gift at the church on December 19.<\/p>\n

Each gift will make a difference in the lives of someone special.<\/p>\n
