Our choirs and praise team presented our annual candelight Christmas Cantata on the afternoon of Sunday December 13.<\/p>\n

The title of the cantata was “A Light Still Shines<\/span><\/em><\/strong>.”\u00a0 Here are portions of the forward which is provided in the book:<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t
Christmas is a modern day miracle of ancient origin.\u00a0 Two thousand years of human history have not \"ChristmasEve2014-<\/a>diminished the importance nor the implications of the Incarnation and the joy of that event will resound for millennia to come.\u00a0 As we celebrate the antiquity of the Christmas story, we must be mindful of the significance the account of the coming of Christ has on our lives today.<\/span><\/p>\n

The visions of a star, a stable, shepherds, wisemen, a young mother and father, and a tiny baby in a manger of hay, are still wreathed in wonder and awe.\u00a0 The tidings of great joy that reach to us from that time long ago, in that place far away, resound with this great promise and truth (Matthew 4:16)…<\/span><\/p>\n

“The people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death, a light has dawned.<\/span><\/em><\/strong>”\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/div><\/div>\n
