On Saturday April 18 our men’s fellowship group descended upon a patch of borough property on the corner of Cedar Ave. & Alcyon Blvd. to clean up. As part of the town’s clean communities program, we raked leaves, picked up trash, and collected sticks to tidy up this unkempt area.<\/p>\n

We were given rakes, convict-looking orange vests, and trash grabbers, and amidst the summer like weather and even a bit of “trash talk,” we spent the morning doing a much needed job.\u00a0 And- nobody fell in the creek!\u00a0 It was a lot of work and it resulted in some blisters and score muscles, but it was good chance to spend some time together and to\u00a0contribute to\u00a0a worthwhile project.<\/p>\n
