{"id":5806,"date":"2015-02-14T22:16:44","date_gmt":"2015-02-15T02:16:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pitmanumc.org\/wp\/?p=5806"},"modified":"2015-02-24T17:59:01","modified_gmt":"2015-02-24T21:59:01","slug":"2015-lenten-devotional-books-are-ready","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pitmanumc.org\/wp\/?p=5806","title":{"rendered":"2015 Lenten Devotional Books are Ready!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pitmanumc.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Lenten-Devotional-2015.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-5810\" src=\"https:\/\/pitmanumc.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Lenten-Devotional-2015-194x300.jpg\" alt=\"Lenten Devotional-2015\" width=\"194\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pitmanumc.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Lenten-Devotional-2015-194x300.jpg 194w, https:\/\/pitmanumc.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Lenten-Devotional-2015.jpg 571w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 194px) 100vw, 194px\" \/><\/a>During the past few months, members of PUMC have written and collected a series of devotional readings to help us prepare for Easter during the season of Lent.\u00a0 The devotionals have been assembled into a booklet, and the booklets are now available.<\/p>\n<p>The Lenten Devotionals are now available in the Narthex.\u00a0 The book contains daily readings starting on Ash Wednesday (February 18) and continuing through Easter Sunday (April 5).\u00a0 Articles are written by members of PUMC as well as by members of Zion Community Church (Clarksboro), Trinity UMC (Mullica Hill), and Emmanuel &amp; St. Paul&#8217;s UMC (Penns Grove).\u00a0 Both laity and clergy contributed articles.\u00a0 Be sure to pick one up and to make this Lenten season a special time of growth and closeness to our Lord and Savior.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class='et-box et-info'>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class='et-box-content'><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The group is already at work on an Advent devotional which will be distributed in December 2015.
