Greetings Friends:

11 months from today is Christmas!!!!<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/div><\/div><\/p>\n
PLEASE READ: Romans 12:1-2\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n
“Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” (NASB)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.\u201d (NASB)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
A number of years ago I heard about a book with an unusual title. The book was written by a former United Methodist pastor from Montana. The book is called, “Why Jesus Never Had Ulcers.” In this neat book Rev. Holmes suggests that Jesus never had ulcers for the following reasons: <\/span><\/p>\n
    \n
  1. He had His priorities straight; <\/span><\/li>\n
  2. He knew what was important; <\/span><\/li>\n
  3. He knew who He was, where He was going, and who was with Him! <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    \"Hand<\/a>In short, we could take that to mean that Jesus had a sense of mission, a sense of calling, a sense of meaning, a sense of purpose, and a sense of partnership with His Heavenly Father.<\/span><\/p>\n
    That last one is really powerful isn’t it? What if you and I approached everything in life constantly reminding ourselves, “God is with me. I am a partner with God! I am working with God, I am working for God and God is working with me.” <\/span><\/p>\n
    If we reminded ourselves of that, actually believed that, and actually lived that way, isn’t it reasonable to think that our lives and the lives of others will be wonderfully changed and fulfilled? Is it possible that if we earnestly asked the Holy Spirit to anoint us with that outlook, that attitude, it would result with a renewed sense of vision, purpose and energy? Is it possible God’s people might start experiencing our lives and ministries they way God intended? <\/span><\/p>\n
    Think about this: God is with me! I am a partner with God! Wow!<\/span><\/p>\n
