Greetings Friends:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Below is a poem I actually came across many years ago. I recently found it again and feel led to share it with you. It really sums up what this season and our lives are all about. I pray that all of us will be blessed.<\/p>\n

PLEASE READ: Matthew 2:9-11<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\"Wise<\/a>“After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. <\/span><\/p>\n

When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. <\/span><\/p>\n

Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh.”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

My Christmas Wish (written by Edward Bos):<\/p>\n

I’ve wished a very special wish<\/span>
\nFor you this Christmas-tide;<\/span>
\nit reaches far beyond today,<\/span>
\n`Tis high and deep, and wide.<\/span><\/p>\n

I wish for you the angels’ song<\/span>
\nThat tells of hope and love;<\/span>
\nI wish the radiance of the Star<\/span>
\nTo guide your thoughts above.<\/span><\/p>\n

I wish for you the sturdy faith<\/span>
\nThat led the Wise Men three <\/span>
\nThrough cold of night, o’er desert drear,<\/span>
\nThe Holy Child to see.<\/span><\/p>\n

I wish for you a humble heart,<\/span>
\nWith purpose strong and true<\/span>
\nThe blessing of the Christ, our Lord<\/span>
\nThis is my wish for you.<\/span><\/p>\n
