On Sunday Nov. 23 we had just heard a sermon<\/a> about some faithful Canadian Geese and about the mounds of mashed potatoes and delicious turkey we’d be enjoying later in the week.\u00a0 But on Sunday afternoon, about 30 of our members gathered in a garage to build our float<\/a> which will be entered into the Pitman Christmas Parade<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 The parade, which will begin at our church parking lot, will be held on Saturday 11\/29 starting at 5:00PM.<\/p>\n

In addition to the tasks of stuffing handout packets and fastening garland and lights, we were treated to a pre-Thanksgiving meal of.. Pizza!\u00a0 It was a productive evening filled with fellowship and “geese-like” faithfulness to the cause of telling others about our love for Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n
