God’s the Real Deal- He doesn’t Flip Flop and Run Away…<\/span><\/h5>\nNumbers 23:19<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\nGod is not a man, that he should lie,<\/span><\/p>\nnor a son of man, that he should change his mind.<\/span><\/p>\nDoes he speak and then not act?<\/span><\/p>\nDoes he promise and not fulfill?<\/span><\/p>\nNIV<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t
\n\t\t\tGod is all powerful- this is His World.\u00a0 Unlike people, He Can do ANYTHING!\n<\/span><\/h5>\nJob 38:4-7<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n“Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?\u00a0 <\/span>Tell me, if you understand. <\/span><\/p>\n\u00a0Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!\u00a0 <\/span>Who stretched a measuring line across it? <\/span><\/p>\nOn what were its footings set,\u00a0 <\/span>or who laid its cornerstone\u2014 <\/span><\/p>\nwhile the morning stars sang together <\/span>and all the angels shouted for joy?<\/span><\/p>\nNIV<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t
\n\t\t\tGod is Righteous.\u00a0 Everything He does is fair.\n<\/span><\/h5>\nDeut 10:17-21<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\nFor the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes. <\/span><\/p>\nHe defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the alien, giving him food and clothing.\u00a0 And you are to love those who are aliens, for you yourselves were aliens in Egypt. <\/span><\/p>\nFear the Lord your God and serve him. Hold fast to him and take your oaths in his name. He is your praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes.<\/span><\/p>\nNIV\n<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\t\t\tWe are sinful- can’t stand before God.\u00a0 BUT- Jesus gives us clean clothes!\n<\/span><\/h5>\nZechariah\u00a0 3:1-4<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\u00a0Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right side to accuse him.\u00a0 The Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is not this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?” <\/span><\/p>\nNow Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel.\u00a0 The angel said to those who were standing before him, “Take off his filthy clothes.”<\/span><\/p>\nThen he said to Joshua, “See, I have taken away your sin, and I will put rich garments on you.”<\/span>\nNIV<\/p>\nWe’re like Joshua; filthy with our selfishness and pride.\u00a0 But Jesus- the “angel of the Lord” stands beside us and gives us His righteousness.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\t\t\tAs messed up as we are, God somehow forgives us and keeps His Righteousness.\n<\/span><\/h5>\nFrom John 8:3-11<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\nThe teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. Has no one condemned you?” <\/span><\/p>\n\u00a0“No one, sir,” she said.\u00a0 “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”<\/span>\nNIV<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\t\t\tJesus sent us the Holy Spirit, and the Spirit gives us True Joy…<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\nJohn 14:15-17<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n“If you love me, you will obey what I command.\u00a0 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever\u2014\u00a0 the Spirit of truth.<\/span><\/p>\nGal 5:22-25<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\nBut the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,\u00a0 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.\u00a0 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.<\/span>\nNIV<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\n\t\t\tJesus- the Son of God- really does care about us!\n<\/span><\/h5>\nMatt 11:28-30<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.\u00a0 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.\u00a0 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” <\/span><\/p>\nLuke 13:34-35<\/strong><\/p>\n“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!<\/p>\n

I am going there to prepare a place for you.\u00a0 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.<\/span><\/p>\nNIV<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t
\n\t\t\tAnd the list goes on and on.\u00a0 This screen isn’t wide enough to list all of the blessings we could count.\u00a0 When you look at the world, a lot of the “blessings” turn out to be pretty disappointing.\u00a0 But look at our Creator!
