As part of Fire Prevention Week<\/a>, a big red fire truck pulled up to our church. Yes, our church does have a sensitive spot for fire trucks, but no- this wasn’t an emergency.\u00a0 Instead, the volunteer firefighters from Pitman’s Highland Fire Company were on hand to teach the kids about fire prevention and to show them how they fight fires.<\/p>\n

The kids had a chance to check out the truck and even to try on a raincoat…<\/span><\/h5>\n

After the presentation, reality set in!\u00a0 The firefighter’s radios started buzzing and they were abruptly called to a real emergency.<\/span><\/h5>\n
