time where you can wander around the sanctuary and shake the hand of someone you haven&#8217;t met before or to catch up with a friend you haven&#8217;t sen in a while.\u00a0 Our church is growing, and a few minutes of Meet and Greet during the service isn&#8217;t enough to kindle relationships.<\/p>\n<p>Also, since we have two services, sometimes it&#8217;s hard to meet people attending &#8220;the other service.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Third Sunday Coffee Tea Meet and Greet&#8230;<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>So we&#8217;ve started something new.\u00a0 On the Third Sunday of each month, coffee, tea, and other goodies will be served in the Narthex after the first service.\u00a0 So if you&#8217;re a &#8220;first service person,&#8221; hang around and grab a cup of coffee and greet the &#8220;second service folks&#8221; as they arrive.\u00a0 If you&#8217;re a &#8220;second service person,&#8221; come out a bit earlier and make some new friends<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re not a coffee or tea drinker&#8230; stop by anyway and say hello!<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Meet Ministry and Leadership Teams&#8230;<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The coffee table will be organized by the various ministry and leadership teams in our church.\u00a0 A different team (or &#8220;committee&#8221;) will take turns each month.\u00a0 For example, you&#8217;ll be greeted by the United Methodist Women in October, the Administrative Council will fill the pots in December, and the choir will serve you in March.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Help a Local Ministry&#8230;<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Besides coffee and tea, the table will also include a donation box.\u00a0 We&#8217;ll use this time to support local ministries such as Urban Promise, Volunteers of America, Inner Faith Hospitality, and Teen Challenge.\u00a0 Information about the ministry of the month will be displayed near the table.<\/p>\n<p>Donations are optional!\u00a0 But, fellowship (and maybe even coffee!) is essential (check out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Acts+2%3A42-47&amp;version=TLB\" target=\"_blank\">Acts 2:42-47<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #003300;\">==================================<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reminders will be posted on the website, but here are the &#8220;Third Sunday&#8221;
