(9\/16\/14)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>OK.\u00a0 Tuesdays did actually continue through the summer, but our Tuesday Bible Study \/ Dinner took a break.<\/p>\n<p>The Tuesday series resumed this week, Tuesday Sept. 16.\u00a0 A\u00a0 lot of good things happened:<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080;\">\u00a0Before Dinner<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>At 9:30 AM Pastor Jim led a study on the opening parts of John 3.\u00a0 Yep- that&#8217;s where &#8220;John 3:16&#8221; comes from (you may have seen it on a sign at a sporting event!).\u00a0 Anyway, we learned that there is a difference between the &#8220;Natural World&#8221; (being born of water) and the &#8220;Spiritual World&#8221; (being born of the Holy Spirit).\u00a0 The study dovetails with the sermon series Pastor Jim is beginning as we look at Jesus the Messiah.<\/li>\n<li>At the &#8220;Early Bird&#8221; study at 5:00 PM, Pastor Glenn Chaplin began a video series entitled, &#8220;What is Heaven Like?&#8221;\u00a0 This series will continue for 7 weeks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Dinner!!!<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/pitmanumc.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Tuesday-Night-Dinner-food-2014-09-13-_IMG_0973.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-3757\" src=\"https:\/\/pitmanumc.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Tuesday-Night-Dinner-food-2014-09-13-_IMG_0973-209x300.jpg\" alt=\"Tuesday Night Dinner food 2014-09-13 _IMG_0973\" width=\"84\" height=\"121\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pitmanumc.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Tuesday-Night-Dinner-food-2014-09-13-_IMG_0973-209x300.jpg 209w, https:\/\/pitmanumc.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Tuesday-Night-Dinner-food-2014-09-13-_IMG_0973.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 84px) 100vw, 84px\" \/><\/a>We had a delicious dinner of pork chops, pasta,and zucchini.\u00a0 The dinner was well-attended, which meant that there were a lot of good deserts!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000080;\">After Dinner<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The Good News\u00a0 Club (grades K thru 5) began their series of &#8220;God Our Creator-King.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>The Youth began a study of the book of Philippians.<\/li>\n<li>The &#8220;Endurance &#8221;
