In each month of this school\u00a0 year, Our Father’s House<\/a><\/span> (our pre-school) features a verse from the Bible and then puts that verse in action through mission.\u00a0\u00a0 Here’s what’s happening in Our Father’s House during this month…<\/span><\/address>\n

This month’s verse is Matthew 7:12<\/a><\/span>…<\/p>\n

“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 NIV<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u00a0This Month’s Mission Project…<\/span><\/h3>\n

\"Unicef<\/a>At the beginning of this month, we will distribute UNICEF boxes<\/a><\/span> and save our change.\u00a0 For many years, UNICEF has been distributing orange coin boxes to enable kids to help kids during the Halloween Trick or Treat season.<\/p>\n

The United Nations Children\u2019s Fund (formerly United Nations International Children\u2019s Emergency Fund) is instrumental in building wells so that children worldwide can have clean water to drink; provides lifesaving immunizations to children in the developing world; and helps to build schools, train teachers, and provide necessary school supplies all over the globe.<\/p>\n

With \u201cTrick-or-Treat for UNICEF\u201d, a little goes a long way. Just $1 can provide a child with 40 days of clean drinking water. \u00a0$10 can vaccinate 280 children. Over the last six decades, \u201cTrick-or-Treat for UNICEF\u201d has raised more than $170 million to save and protect kids.<\/p>\n

It is important to educate our children so that they do not take for granted things that we enjoy such as easy access to food and clean water, the ability to go to school and get an education, and the availability of medical care when needed.<\/p>\n

There is a box in the back of the church for your donation to UNICEF\nwhich helps children throughout the world.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

UNICEF works in more than 190 countries and territories to help keep the world\u2019s kids alive and healthy. Trick-or-treat for UNICEF helps provide kids-in-need with healthcare, clean water, nutrition, education, emergency relief, and more. <\/span><\/p>\n

When you give to Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF, you join in protecting children from harm and give them the best possible start in life.<\/span>\u00a0<\/div><\/div>\n
