Scripture<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t
Rom 10:11-18<\/p>\n

As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” <\/span><\/p>\n

12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile \u2014 the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,<\/span><\/p>\n

13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” <\/span><\/p>\n

14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? <\/span><\/p>\n

15 And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”<\/span><\/p>\n

16 But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?” <\/span><\/p>\n

17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. \u00a0<\/span> \u00a0\u00a0 NIV<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

In the show “Jesus Christ Superstar,” the title song includes the lyrics sung by Judas…<\/p>\n

Every time I look at you I don’t understand<\/span>
\n Why you let the things you did get so out of hand<\/span>
\n You’d have managed better If you’d had it planned<\/span>
\n Now why’d you choose such a backward time<\/span>
\n And such a strange land?<\/span><\/p>\n

If you’d come today you could have reached the whole nation<\/span>
\n Israel in 4 BC had no mass communication.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What if Jesus came today?\u00a0 He could just text!\u00a0 He could ask you to like Him on Facebook.\u00a0 But He came at a time when He couldn’t hide behind a telephone or computer.\u00a0 As He traveled around Israel, gave us an example of how WE should be using our feet.<\/p>\n

Isaiah 52:7 says…<\/p>\n

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet<\/strong> of those who bring good news,<\/span>
\n who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation,<\/span>
\n who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”<\/span>
\nNIV<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There’s something special about the human touch (see last week’s sermon<\/a><\/span>!).\u00a0 God knew what He was doing when He picked the time and place to send His Son.\u00a0 The Internet isn’t all it’s cracked up to be [even this website…<\/span><\/em>].\u00a0 The Greek word translated as “Beautiful” in Romans 10:15 actually means “Happy.”\u00a0 It reminds you of Matthew 21:9 where it says “Blessed [happy] is he who comes in the name of the Lord.”\u00a0 We are called to “come in the name of the Lord”; to share the Gospel.\u00a0 Feet that are still are not part of God’s will for our lives.<\/p>\n

We are called to spread the Gospel.\u00a0 Here are three points about the Gospel…<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1:\u00a0 We Need a Savior!<\/span><\/h3>\n

Genesis 3<\/a><\/span> tells us how mankind separated themselves from God.\u00a0 Eve was tempted to sin, but Adam deliberately disobeyed God.\u00a0 To restore our relationship with God we need a Savior to undo that; to stand in the gap that’s between us and God.<\/p>\n
