What does it mean to be a Living Sacrifice?<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Here’s what Paul wrote to the Christians in Rome…<\/p>\n\n\t\t

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God\u2019s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God \u2013 this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God\u2019s will is \u2013 his good, pleasing and perfect will. <\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

God doesn’t need our money…<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n

You have heard me say many times that the offering is an \u201cact of worship\u201d because spiritually, it is an act of worship. I am convinced God does not need our money. Paul tells the church in Rome as we desire to be living the life that Jesus desires, we are pleasing God and that is worship.<\/p>\n

What is Worship?<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n

The term \u201cworship\u201d has taken on a new meaning in the life of a church. The Christian world of music has exploded with new styles and the crowds have filled stadiums. Let us remember what pleases the Lord the most is a heart that desires to follow the scriptures and living for Jesus<\/span>.<\/p>\n
