Eggs represent life, and new life comes from the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.\u00a0 So we’re going to use the symbol of Easter Eggs to help teach our children about the true meaning of Easter… and to have a little fun while we’re at it!<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Let’s make some joyful noise on “Silent Saturday!”\u00a0 On Saturday, April 19<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0we will host our 16th annual Easter Egg Hunt.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Here are the details…<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

2025 Easter Egg Hunt<\/span><\/h4>\n

WHEN<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0\u00a0 Saturday April 19, 2025\n<\/span><\/p>\n

TIME<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Starts at 11:00 AM. Ends when all of the eggs have been gathered! (1 ‘ish)<\/span><\/em><\/span>\n<\/span><\/p>\n

WHERE:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 Pitman United Methodist Church (indoors and on our south lawn)<\/span><\/p>\n

WHO:<\/span><\/strong> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ages 0 through\u00a0 ??? (there will be goodies for the grownups too!)<\/span><\/p>\n

RAIN OR SHINE<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0 We’ll move inside if a major storm comes up<\/span><\/p>\n

WHAT<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0 “Magic” show and Easter Egg Hunt<\/span><\/p>\n

COST<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 You’ve gotta be kidding!!! Absolutely free!<\/span><\/p>\n

We start with collecting our bags and a short program in the sanctuary, then we’re off to the hunt around 11:45 a.m. Everything is free and for ages 0 + We even have an adult egg hunt.<\/p>\n

A Tradition Continues…<\/span><\/h3>\n

This is PUMC’s 16th annual Easter Egg hunt!\u00a0 The pandemic interrupted it in 2020, scaled it back in 2021, but the Hunt is back in full\u00a0 force.\u00a0 Last April over 300 children (“of all ages”) collected a couple thousand plastic eggs filled with goodies.\u00a0 Here’s a taste of some previous Egg Hunts:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t
