This type of blood donation usually takes about an hour.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\t\t<div class='author-shortcodes'>\n\t\t\t<div class='author-inner'>\n\t\t\t\t<div class='author-image'>\n\t\t\t<img src='https:\/\/pitmanumc.org\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/et_temp\/share-financial-equalization-1015310_1280-_400x300-9677_60x60.jpg' alt='' \/>\n\t\t\t<div class='author-overlay'><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div> <!-- .author-image --> \n\t\t<div class='author-info'>\n\t\t\t<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">One PUMC member, who is a regular donor, offered the following thoughts on the reasons for supporting these blood drives&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #003366; font-size: 14pt;\">Donating blood is a very personal act. Each donor has their own reason they give. Personally, I donate in honor of my sister who passed away in 2007 at the age of 50. She was a beneficiary of others donations for several years before her passing. Maybe you have a friend or relative who has benefited from the red cross. Maybe you simply want to help others in need.
