Malachi and Matthew….\u00a0 The two books begin with the same letter and they are side by side.\u00a0 But to many, they are miles apart.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

At first glance, the New Testament talks about Jesus: Matthew Mark, Luke and John chronicles His teaching and ministry.\u00a0 The other books chronicle the growth of the church and the teachings of the apostles.\u00a0 The Old Testament talks about the Jewish Law and the history of Israel.\u00a0 It contains Psalms of worship, wisdom, and prophecies about God’s plans for the Hebrew people and the nation of Israel.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

But, does the Old Testament also talk about Jesus?\u00a0 What does the New Testament say about history and the Law?<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Bible Study Begins….\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Pastor Mike is beginning a new Bible Study which will connect the Old and New Testaments.\u00a0 This study will be held twice every Wednesday.\u00a0 In the morning, the study will be held for those who prefer to meet online via Zoom (either by choice or by necessity).\u00a0 In the evening, the same topics will be covered in an in-person class to be held at the church.\u00a0 The evening class will also be shown on Zoom (but directed to the in-person group).<\/p>\n

WHO<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0 For anyone (adults, youth, kids, PUMC’ers or anyone else.\u00a0 And you don’t have to be a “Bible Scholar”!).<\/span><\/p>\n

WHERE<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0 In the morning- on Zoom.\u00a0 In the evening- in the church building (Potter’s Hand room)<\/span><\/p>\n

WHEN<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0 Every Wednesday<\/span><\/p>\n

TIMEs<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0 11AM – 12PM (morning class), 7PM-8PM (evening class)<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div>\n
