Gloucester County is providing a series of free flu shot clinics during the month of October.\u00a0 One of those clinics will be held in our Fellowship Hall on Saturday October 12.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t

WHO<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0 Any Gloucester County Resident (proof of residency will be required)<\/span><\/p>\n

WHAT<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0 Vaccination against the current flu strain<\/span><\/p>\n

WHEN<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0 Saturday October 12, 2024<\/span><\/p>\n

TIMEs<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0 From 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM<\/span><\/p>\n

WHERE<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0 PUMC Fellowship Hall (enter via the parking lot doors<\/span>)<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

COST<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0 \u00a0Absolutely free!<\/span><\/p>\n

RESERVATIONS<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0 Walk-ons are welcome, but they strongly advise that you complete the online “Consent Form” ahead of time.\u00a0 See below…<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div>\n

Yep- the clinic will only be open for one hour, but it won’t take long to receive your shot. Now is a great time to take this step to avoid the flu during the upcoming winter season.<\/p>\n

Pre-Registration (“Consent Form”)…<\/span><\/h3>\n

Before receiving the vaccine, you must sign a short “Consent Form” (identifying any allergies, medications, etc.)\u00a0 They “strongly recommend” that you complete this form online before coming to the clinic.\u00a0 You can fill it out when you arrive, but completing the online consent form beforehand will save you a lot of time when you go to get the shot.<\/span><\/p>\n

The consent form MUST be completed electronically; they no longer use paper forms.\u00a0 The Gloucester County Department of Health<\/a><\/span> uses a website called “Metacat Connect” that implements the Consent Form process.<\/p>\n
