Small groups and &#8220;Emmaus Reunion Groups&#8221; are important accountability tools.\u00a0 But, we still need to come to the Father on our own and spend some time for personal reflection and prayer.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>On the evening of December 31, before joining with friends to celebrate the holiday, consider spending a few moments celebrating and evaluating your relationship with God.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>On December 31, between 7:00 and 9:00PM our sanctuary will be open for silent reflection.\u00a0 Communion will be offered at 20 minute intervals (7:20, 7:40, 8:20, and 8:40).\u00a0 Stay as long as you need; take part in the sacrament of holy communion if you want.\u00a0 But take advantage of the milestone of New Year&#8217;s to grow closer to God.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Milestones such as New Year&#8217;s Eve can be helpful reminders of re-assessing your relationship with God.\u00a0 How have you grown?\u00a0 How has your faith been tested?\u00a0 When did you fail to heed God&#8217;s call to discipleship?\u00a0 How can you be a better disciple in the future?
