Pastor Mike has begun to post short praise and worship videos on Facebook which he calls “Catacomb Praise.”\u00a0 The videos are a quick reflection with music, scripture, and prayer. The messages will appear on our church’s Facebook Group<\/a><\/span> early in the week.\u00a0 But if you’re not on Facebook or if you miss the message, you can now view it on our church website!<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Feeling Like You’re in the Dark?<\/span><\/h3>\n

Sunday mornings are always a big spiritual boost.\u00a0 During worship services<\/a><\/span> we spend an hour focused on God by singing, praying, and listening to the Word.\u00a0 We enjoy the fellowship and are strengthened by eachother.\u00a0 On Sundays, you feel connected with God, hopeful, and secure.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But then Monday comes…<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

At the stroke of midnight, Monday arrives and hits us with life’s concerns about work, school, and family.\u00a0 It’s only one day, but sometimes Sunday’s high seems so far away.\u00a0 As the “normal” stuff piles up, we can feel trapped.\u00a0 It’s like we’re in a cave with no exit in sight. \"\"<\/p>\n

Sometimes we need to refocus on God mid-week to recharge our spiritual batteries.<\/p>\n

That’s what “Catacomb Praise” is all about!\u00a0 Pastor Mike usually posts his messages on Mondays, and you can experience them at any time during the week.\u00a0 Check them out whenever you feel that you’re in a “catacomb” and need some light to lift your spirits.<\/p>\n

If you’re not on Facebook or if you’ve lost the post in the timeline, you can view the videos on this website!\u00a0 A page called “Catacomb Praise” has been added to the website under the “GROW:\u00a0In\u00a0Worship<\/strong>” menu.\u00a0 \u00a0After Pastor Mike posts on Facebook, the video will be copied to this page.\u00a0 A list of songs along with links to the lyrics and scripture readings are also included.\u00a0 None of the old “episodes” will be deleted;\u00a0 the new ones will simply be added to this page as they’re made.\u00a0 If you ever want to review an old “episode,” come back to the Catacomb Praise page and it will be there.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
