PUMC is blessed with a great facility, a building which can be used for many different purposes.\u00a0 It took a fire to move us from our old building in the center of town, but even after all this time, we’re still discovering fresh ways of serving the community.\u00a0 One service that we’ve latched on to is to host the American Red Cross as they constantly strive to keep their blood banks prepared.\u00a0 These blood drives have become regular occurrences, but the need is ongoing.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

How Can I Help?<\/span><\/h3>\n

Thanks to the generosity of our community, this year’s Fall blood drive at PUMC is currently booked!\u00a0 As of this writing, no more appointments remain.\u00a0 However, please check the Red Cross website (below) to see if any appointments have opened due to cancellations.\u00a0 The site also provides information on drives held at other nearby locations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Stay tuned for announcements on when the next drive will be held at PUMC.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div>\n

WHEN<\/span><\/strong>: Thursday October 12, 2023\n<\/span><\/p>\n

TIME:<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM\n<\/span><\/p>\n

WHERE<\/span><\/strong>: PUMC Fellowship Hall<\/a><\/span> \u00a0\n<\/span> (enter via the Fellowship Hall doors which are right off the parking lot.<\/span><\/em>)<\/span><\/p>\n

WHO<\/span><\/strong>: Aged 16 and above. \n<\/span> Click Here<\/a><\/span> for other requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are several options on how to register. Pick the one that works best for you:<\/p>\n

  4. If you haven’t donated before, click the “Create an Account” button and enter the requested information. If you have donated before, you can enter your user\/login info.<\/li>\n
  5. Click the “Continue” button to finalize your registration.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
