Greetings Friends:<\/span><\/strong><\/em>

\nHappy New Year to all!\u00a0 Today is the “last” day of the Christmas season as Epiphany begins tomorrow, January 6. Below is a poem I actually came across many years ago.\u00a0 I pray that all of us will be blessed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\nPLEASE READ:\u00a0Matthew 2:9-11
\n“After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east\u00a0went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was.\u00a0When they saw the star, they were overjoyed.\u00a0On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him.\u00a0Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts\u00a0of gold and of incense and of myrrh.”<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

I’ve wished a very special wish for you this Christmas-tide;<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\nit reaches far beyond today, `tis high and deep, and wide.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

I wish for you the angels’ song that tells of hope and love;<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\nI wish the radiance of the Star to guide your thoughts above.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\nI wish for you the sturdy faith that led the Wise Men three<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\nThrough cold of night, o’er desert drear, the Holy Child to see.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\nI wish for you a humble heart, with purpose strong and true<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\nThe blessing of the Christ, our Lord this is my wish for you.<\/span><\/em><\/p><\/div><\/div>\n

\nMay God bless each of you everyday in 2022!\u00a0 May the gift of Jesus the Christ received at Christmas, continue to journey with each of you and may you feel His ever aiding presence!<\/p>\n
