In these opening months of 2014 before we enter the Lenten season, we have been taking a journey using the Scott Jones book: “The Wesleyan Way:\u00a0 A Faith that matters<\/strong><\/em>“.\u00a0 The journey takes place on two roads.
\n<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\"TheWesleyanWay\"<\/a>First, we consider a topic from the book during\u00a0 the Sunday morning service.\u00a0 The sermon series applies elements of our faith journey in the light of scripture, and challenges us to deliberately use the grace and resources that God provides in order to grow more into His likeness and truly “love the Lord our God with all our heart, souls,\u00a0 and minds.” <\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The second road is traveled in small groups.\u00a0 On Tuesday evenings, we view a video and then break into small groups to discuss the topic shared during the previous Sunday’s\u00a0 message.\u00a0 <\/span><\/div>\n
