\nPastor Jim’s first Sunday with us is this week- July 6. His sermon this week is entitled- appropriately- “Who Am I?” He is preaching on Matthew 16:13-16 and Joshua 1:1-9. <\/span><\/p>\n

Communion will be celebrated during both services.\u00a0 The second service will also feature the initial get-together of “Pastor’s Pals” (the children’s sermon).\u00a0 So if you’re young enough to join Pastor Jim (or feel young enough to be with the kids), plan on coming down to the front during “Pastor’s Pals” to experience this meeting with the new pastor.<\/span><\/p>\n

During both services, Jim and his family will be “officially” introduced and our new pastor will take up the clergy’s stole which was left behind for him by Pastor Larry on June 15.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the 11:00 service, a reception for the Boltons will be held in the Fellowship Hall (cookies, deserts, punch, etc will be served).<\/span><\/p>\n
