The stained glass windows along the top of our sanctuary tell the story of our Lord and Savior.\u00a0 On the left side, windows depict the Nativity, Baptism, Last Supper, and Crucifixion.<\/p>\n
The large window in the center of our sanctuary (above the alter) depicts the central tenant of our faith: The Resurrection.<\/p>\n
Until 10\/1\/13, the three windows to the right of the Resurrection window were blank (clear glass).\u00a0 Thanks to the gifts of several long time members of our church, these places now continue the story.<\/p>\n
Immediately to the right of the Resurrection window is the Walk to Emmaus window, showing Jesus’ appearance on that first Easter day.\u00a0 After that are two new windows depicting the Ascension, and the Pentecost.\u00a0 The final window (the “How Great Thou Art” window) reminds us of God’s glory and of the return of our Lord.<\/p>\n

The Stained Glass windows are gifts given to the church.\u00a0 No funds from our general budget were used to purchase or install these windows.\u00a0 In fact, enough funds from the gifts were left over to enable us to install a new window on the lower level near the staircase.\u00a0 This window shows the cross and flame (Methodist symbol).<\/p>\n
